But I'm Not Some Tech Wiz Accountant!

We hear this all the time! Microsoft Excel isn’t just for corporate offices and number crunchers. It’s a powerful tool for organizing almost any part of your life. Here’s how learning the basics can benefit you:

Take Control of Your Household Budget

Tired of wondering where your money went at the end of the month? Excel is perfect for creating a simple, visual budget. You can list your income, track your expenses by category (groceries, utilities, gas), and watch as Excel automatically calculates your totals. Seeing it all in one place helps you make informed financial decisions and plan for your goals.

Help Plan and Organize Your Events with Ease

Whether you're planning a group trip to the theatre, a family reunion, a community potluck, or a holiday gathering, Excel can be your best friend. Use it to create guest lists, track who's bringing what dish, manage your to-do list, and even plan your seating chart. It takes the stress out of keeping track of a million little details.

Simplify Grocery Shopping and Meal Planning

Stop forgetting items at the store! Stop shopping on an empty stomach! Create a master grocery list in Excel, organized by aisle (produce, dairy, canned goods). You can even link it to a weekly meal plan to automatically generate your shopping list, saving you time and money.

Manage Your Home and Personal Projects

From organizing a cleaning schedule to tracking your health and fitness goals, Excel provides a structured way to see your progress. You can create a simple chart to log water intake, track birthdays and anniversaries, or even catalog your favorite recipes or book collection.

Boost Your Confidence and Resume

Even a basic understanding of Excel is a valuable skill that many employers look for, and a great start for any Data Analyst job. Whether you're looking to re-enter the workforce, change careers, or just feel more confident using technology, this class is a great first step.

Tracking Health and Fitness Goals

Create to-do lists, plan events, manage contacts, and even create a schedule for your family. Excel can be your personal assistant. Monitor your workouts, track your meals, and visualize your progress with charts and graphs. Seeing your progression can be a great motivator!

Join Our Supportive Community

At Healing Broken Vessels, our computer training is designed to be patient, supportive, and entirely judgment-free. Our goal is to help you see technology not as a barrier, but as a tool to make your life easier and more organized.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 29th at 11:00 AM at Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church to discover the power of Excel for yourself. Let’s learn, grow, and build new skills together!
